Nepal’s Women Blind Cricket Team on Thursday, February 7, 2019, returned home after the historical victory against Pakistan in an International T20 Women’s Blind Cricket Series held in Islamabad recently.
The National Sports Council (NSC) member-secretary Keshav Kumar Bista along with treasurer Sailesh Karmacharya and advisor Rohit Dahal have reached the Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome the triumphant team.
clinched its first International T20 Women’s Blind Cricket Series held that concluded at Shalimar Cricket Grounds in Islamabad.
Nepali Women registered 4-0 win in the five-match series. In the final day match, Nepal defeated host Pakistan by 10 wickets to seal a first ever victory in the history of blind cricket.
Similarly, Nepal had thrashed host by 10 wickets in first and third matches. Similarly, it won by nine wickets in the fourth match. The second match was washed out due to rain. Nepal bagged PKR 100,000 while host had to satisfy for PKR 50,000.
