The final squad for the Nepal National Cricket Team for the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Championship matches against the Netherlands has been announced on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
The selection committee comprising ICC representative Venkatapathy Raju, chief coach Jagat Tamata and captain Paras Khadka unveiled the 15-member team for the two 50-over matches against the Netherlands scheduled for August 13 and 15.
Anil Kumar Mandal has made it in the final squad following his magnificent performance in the England tour that was arranged as part of preparation for the Netherland visit.
During the England tour, Anil had scored 73 runs against Eastbourne Cricket Club and 43 runs against Club Cricket Conference.
FINAL SQUAD: Paras Khadka (skipper), Gyanendra Malla (vice-captain), Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sharad Vesawkar, Sompal Kami, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari, Raju Rijal, Karan KC, Anil Mandal, Sandip Lamichhane, Bikram Sob, Rajesh Pulami Magar and Sunil Dhamala.
