All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has unveiled a 23-member squad for AFC Asian Cup 2019 Qualifiers match against Yemen that is scheduled to kick off at APF’s Halchowk Stadium on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
At a press conference in the Capital on Monday, Nepal’s Football Team head coach Koji Gyotoku announced the players and their positions for Nepal’s second match under the Qualifiers.
Goalkeepers - Kiran Kumar Limbu, Bikesh Kuthu, Alan Neupane
Defenders - Biraj Maharjan, Ananta Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary, Kamal Shrestha, Devendra Tamang, Jitendra Karki, Man Bahadur Tamang, Dinesh Rajbansi
Mid-fielders - Sujal Shrestha, Bishal Rai, Rohit Chand, Anjan Bista, Hemanta Thapa Magar, Rajendra Rawal, Heman Gurung, Sunil Bal
Forwards – Nawayug Shrestha, Bharat Khawas, Anil Gurung, Bimal Gharti Magar
Nepal is in Group F along with Philippines, Yemen and Tajikistan. Nepal has already lost its first match against Philippines 4-1 held in Manila on March 28.
