Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the government would take all the measures to facilitate the flood-hit victims.
Speaking to Media in Nepalgunj on Thursday, August 17, 2017, PM said the government has given top priority for the safety of flood-affected people.
Meanwhile, during the inspection of Banke, Bardiya and Kailali districts, PM also distributed distribute the relief packages to the floods victims.
PM Deuba handed the financial assistance of Rs 600,000 to Tharu family. Kamilal Tharu of Lalpur, Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality-4 had lost his three daughters in the flood, RSS reports.
Similarly, PM Deuba distributed daily commodities to the needy along with inspecting the flood-hit areas in Terai. The government had announced the relief package of Rs 200,000 each to the victims.
