Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) has unveiled the annual programmes for fiscal year 2074/75 (2017/18).
Organising a press conference in the capital on Saturday, NVA’s general secretary Jitendra Bahadur Chand announced the 27-point programme for this fiscal year.
As per the new calendar of NVA, the association has planned to felicitate the National Men and Women teams next month (June/July) that had participated in the AVC Central Zone Championship.
Nepal will also play international friendly match against Denmark in Kathmandu in the month of September/October, said the association. Similarly, the association will also host U-18 Women and Men Inter-School Volleyball Tournament along with Inter-College Tournament within this fiscal year.
The association has also set Refresher Course for volleyball coaches in July/August and nationwide Referee Refreshing Course in December/January, according to NVA.
As volleyball has been named the National Game of Nepal, the association decided to marked Jestha 8 (May 22) as Volleyball Day.
