The National Sports Council (NSC) has permitted the Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) players to participate in the 8th National Games this year. The participation of NRN player is the first time in the history of the National Games.
The NSC member-secretary Keshav Kumar Bista and NRNA President Bhawan Bhatta have signed an agreement for the same, informed NSC Press Advisor Rohit Dahal.
As per the deal, NRN players should acquire an official recommendation of the NRN representative to participate in the National Games. They are allowed to participate only in the individual competition.
NRN players will also get the same facility that is provided to others during the tournament. The facility doesn’t include travel expenses.
