Nepal Police Club (NPC) has made it to the semi-finals of the 21st Tilottama Gold Cup on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
In the match held at ANFA Technical Center, Butwal , Police beat India’s Darjeeling United 2-0 to advance to the semis of the Gold Cup. Man of the match Ravi Paswan and Milan Rai scored apiece for winner.
Now, NPC will take on the winner between Chyasal Youth Club and Manang Marshyandi Club in the semis round. Jhapa XI will take on Cameroon’s Dauphins in the third quarter-final match on Wednesday.
Altogether 10 teams including two foreign teams – are competing in the 10-day tournament. These teams are divided into two groups.
The winner of the tournament will bag Rs 880,000 while the runner-up will get Rs 550,000, according to the Rupandehi DFA. Rupandehi District Football Association is the organiser of the tournament.
