New Zealand has entered the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2015 after defeating West Indies by 143 runs held in Wellington on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
Now, New Zealand will take on South Africa in the semis berth.
West Indies was all out for just 250 runs in the 30.3 overs while chasing the huge target of 394 runs set by New Zealand.
Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Martin Guptill created a history in the World Cup making double centuries with 237 runs not out.
Guptill, 28, scored 11 sixes and 24 fours to overcome the score of West Indies' Chris Gayle who had scored 215 runs against Zimbabwe in February 24.
Guptill also recorded second best score in the history of ODI as Rohit Sharma is at the top with 264 runs.
