The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has skipped the tripartite talks between the government and the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) that was scheduled for 1pm at the Prime Minister office in Singha Durbar on Friday, December 11, 2015.
The tripartite meeting started without the NC leaders as UDMF leaders decided to hold the meeting without them.
The main agenda of the meeting was to resolve the issues related to Madhes’s agitation and India’s unannounced blockade.
NC leaders did not participate the meeting citing busy schedule. However, the meeting led by Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa had attended by Prime Minister KP Oli, CPN (UML) senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and UDMF leaders.
