Nepal is set to play T20 Series against Sri Lanka’s Team that comprises some great cricketers of the time at TU International Cricket Stadium from April 25 to May 1, 2017.
The three-match series will be held on April 27, 29 and May 1, informed the organiser Periwinkle Service amidst a press conference in Capital on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. “The matches are arranged to mark the 60th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between the two nations.”
Nepal’s skipper Paras Khadka will lead the Gorkha Rhinos while former Sri Lanka’s finest batman Aravinda de Silva will stand on the other side in the three-day T20 series.
Legendary cricketers like Sanath Jayasuriya, Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Upul Chandana, Dilhara Fernando, Farveez Maharoof and Kaushalya Weeraratne are also set to play against Nepal Rhinos.
Similarly, present national players including - Rangana Herath, Upul Tharanga, Dilshan Munaweera, Sachithra Senanayake and Chamara Silva are also in the squad.
