Nepal has lost to Pakistan by six wickets in its first match of the ACC Emerging Nations Cup at Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh on March 27, 2017.Nepal posted a target of 181 runs with the loss of nine wickets in allotted 50 overs. Pakistan met the target in 45.1 overs with a score of 183 runs.
As Pakistan opted to bowl, Nepal’s Sunil Dhamala scored highest 43runs while Sharad Vesawkar added 38 runs, Binod Bhandari 22 runs, Aarif Seikh 16 runs and Dipendra Airee 14 runs.
Ghulam Mudassar alone claimed five wickets. Similarly, Imam UI Haq made a century with 104 runs off 135 balls while Hamam Azam scored 22 runs and Imran Butt 21 runs.
Sandeep Lamichhane and Gyanendra Malla took two wickets each for Nepal.
