Nepal has lost against England by 90 runs in the ongoing 2nd Blind Cricket T20 World Cup 2017 in Bangalore, India, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
This is the fifth loss for Nepal as it had already bored against Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies and Sri Lanka. However, Nepal defeated South Africa to register a victory, so far.
Nepal has lost to England for the second time as it had faced 10 wickets defeat in the first edition of the T20 Tournament in 2012.
In the first batting, England posted a target of 235 runs with the loss of five wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply, Nepal could make only 143 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs.
Sunil Subedi Chettri made 42 runs off 44 balls while Sunil Thapa Magar 30 runs off 34 balls including two boundaries and skipper Kirtan Shrestha added 27 runs including two boundaries. Padam claimed two wickets and thapa Magar a wicket for Nepali side.
Luke was the highest scorer for winner with a century in 62 balls – eight boundaries while Peter contributed 60 runs off 43 balls – two boundaries. Luke and Justin also grabbed two wickets each for England.
