Nepal has lost its first practice match against Bangladesh by three wickets held at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan Ground-3, Savar, Dhaka, on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Nepal is in Bangladesh tour for practice matches scheduled for November 2, 4 and 5 in Dhaka prior to ACC U-19 Youth Asia Cup in Malaysia from November 11 to 19, 2017.
As Bangladesh U-19 chose to field first after winning the toss, Nepal scored 153 runs with the loss of nine wickets in maximum 50 overs. Mahamad Asif Sheikh made highest 32 runs while Bhim Sharki added 28 runs, Pawan Sarraf 19 runs, Anik Kumar Sah 18 runs, Kamal Singh Airee 17 runs and Dipendra Singh Airee 16 runs for Nepal.
The score was not enough for Nepal to win the match as Bangladesh chased down the target in 39 overs losing seven wickets despite Sandeep Lamichhane’s four wickets claim.
Naim Sheikh gave a half-century score with 53 runs while Towhid Hridly contributed 48 runs, Kaxi Anik Islam 18 runs and Pinak Ghosh 14 runs for the winning side.

The selection committee was headed by Nepal’s U-19 head coach Binod Kumar Das and ACC Consultant Venkatapathy Raju has announced the team.
The team had left for Bangladesh on October 30 to play three practice matches. The team is set to return back on November 6.
