Nepali National Cricket team has faced 24 runs defeat against Himalchal Pradesh’s local cricket team in their last T20 friendly match held at Dharamsala Cricket Ground, India on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
Nepali team had defeated the same team by five wickets in its first match and by 61 runs in the second match on Monday.
Nepal is in India for 15-day tour as part of the preparation prior to the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers scheduled for July 9 to 26, 2015 in Ireland and Scotland. The tour is organised by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Nepal has been drawn alongside defending champion Ireland, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Namibia, USA and Jersey in Group A while Afghanistan, UAE, Netherlands, Scotland, Canada, Kenya and Oman are in Group B.
The top six teams from the Qualifiers will join the 10 full members of the ICC World Twenty20 that is scheduled to be held in India from March 11 to April 3, 2016, according to ICC.
