Nepal’s National U-19 Cricket Team has left for Bangladesh to compete in the ICC U-19 World Cup on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. The tournament is scheduled from January 22 to February 14, 2016.
The U-19 national team has flown to Bangladesh via Jet Airways to participate in the tournament on Wednesday morning.
Prime Minister KP Oli had also bade farewell to the team wishing it success at the World Cup on Tuesday amidst a function at PM’s residence in Baluwatar.
Nepal has been drawn alongside New Zealand, India and Ireland in Group D. It will take on New Zealand in its opener on January 28, Ireland on January 30 and India on February 1.
Prior to its group stage matches, Nepal will play warm-up matches againt Pakistan on January 23 and Sri Lanka on January 25.
