Nepal registered first win at the 2nd Blind Cricket T20 World Cup held in New Delhi, India, on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
In its third match of the tournament, Nepal secured six wickets victory against South Africa. Nepal had lost to Australia by 10 wickets and 59 runs against Bangladesh in its previous matches.
In today’s match, Nepal met the target of 147 runs in 17.3 overs with the loss of four wickets. Sunil Subedi scored highest 46 runs while Sunil Rana Magar made 38 runs and Ramesh Bahadur Baniya 24 runs.
South Africa scored 146 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs.
So far, this is the second win for Nepal in T20 International Tournament and a first win over South Africa. Nepal had won against Bangladesh by nine wickets in 2012 World Cup.
Now, Nepal will play against Pakistan in its fourth match of the tournament on Friday.
