Nepal has won three gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal at the “All Style Invitational Karate Do Tournament 2017” held in Hong Kong from January 27 to 30, 2017.
In 55kg, Biplop Shrestha won a gold medal in Kumute along with a bronze medal in Open Kata.
Similarly, Bikesh Shrestha and Piyush Maharjan clinched a gold medal and silver medal in 40-45kg Kumute, respectively.
Maharjan also won gold medal and Shrestha silver medal in Open Kata.
Altogether, six players had competed in the four-day tournament – Men’s 70kg Keshav Bogati, 60kg Rabin Kumar Joshi, 55kg Biplap Shrestha, 45kg Bibek Shrestha, 40kg Piyush Maharjan and 65kg Bednidhi Mudbhari.
