The final National Women’s Cricket squad has been unveiled for the upcoming ICC Women’s Qualifier Asia 2019 scheduled to be held in Thailand from February 18 to 27, 2019.
The team comprises 14 players - Rubina Chhetry Belbashi (Captain), Sita Rana Magar (Vice-Captain), Karuna Bhandari, Sarita Maga, Nery Thap, Indu Barma, Sonu Khadka, Aarati Bidari, Kajal Shrestha, Roma Thapa, Kabita Kunwar, Apsari Begum, Mamta Kumari Chaudhary and Bindu Rawal.
Similarly, Ritu Kumari Kanujiya, Suman Bist, Anjali Chand and Dolly Bhatta are selected as reserve players.
Amrita Paudel (Manager), Binod Kumar Das (Head Coach), Neera Rajopadhyay (Assistant Coach) and Sakuna Dani (Physio) are also with the team. The team is scheduled to travel to Thailand via Thai Airways at 1:50pm on February 16, 2019.
According to the Media Release by ICC in February 13, 2019, there are seven nations including Nepal, China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE under the ICC Women’s Qualifier Asia 2019.

Altogether, 27 teams from five Regions will vie in the Qualifiers, with one team per region qualifying for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019 and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2020. All matches played in the qualifiers will be T20 Internationals.
