Nepali National Cricket Team has left for Malaysia to participate in the ICC-U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier to be held in Kuala Lumpur, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) also bade farewell to the 14-member team amidst a function in Kathmandu today.
The players include - Raju Rijal (Captain), Arif Seikh (Vice-captain), Dipendra Airee, Saurav Khanal, Shankar Rana, Sandip Sunar, Sunil Dhamala, Yogendra Karki, Dipesh Shrestha, Sushil Kandel, Prem Tamang, Rajbir Singh, Kushal Bhurtel and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi.

The tournament is scheduled for October 13-22 where Nepal will take on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in its inaugural match on October 15 and Uganda on October 16, United States of America on October 19 and Ireland on October 21.
The winner will qualify for the 11th edition of the ICC U-19 World Cup that will be held in Bangladesh from January 22 to February 14, 2016.
The winner will join the 10 full member of ICC and other five additional teams – Afghanistan, Namibia, Canada, Fiji and Scotland.
Previously, Nepal was awarded to host the Qualifiers. Due to devastating Earthquake on April 25th the tournament was postponed to Malaysia.
