The national cricket players are expected to receive their monthly remuneration of last two years following the release of around Rs 12.787 million by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The apex body of international cricket has deposited the sum of Rs 12 million 787 thousand and 782 in the Standard Chartered Bank account of National Sports Council (NSC) on Saturday, February 9, 2019, said NSC Press Adviser Rohit Dahal.
Dahal said that the deposited amount will be paid to the 21 cricketers soon along with the coordination of players and trainer.
The national cricket players were barred from their monthly salaries after ICC’s suspension over the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) citing the government interference in selection of the board.

As per the Grades – A, B and C categories - the players under A-Grade will be paid Rs 35,000 per month while B-Grade players will get Rs 25,000 per month and C-Grade players Rs 15,000 per month.
