Nepal has announced final squad for the Following 15 players has been selected for upcoming ACC Emerging Nations Cup scheduled to be held in Bangladesh from March 25 to April 4, 2017.The 15-memebr squad will be led by Gyanendra Malla and Sharad Vesawkar as vice captain as Skipper Paras Kadka is in rest following appendicitis surgery.
The team comprises - Gyanendra Malla (Captain), Sharad Vesawkar (Vice Captain), Binod Bhandari, Sagar Pun, Md. Arif Sheikh, Mahaboob Alam, Dipendra Sing Airee, Sandeep Lamichhane, Mahamad Asif Sheikh, Avinash Karn, Sunil Dhamala, Bhuwan Karki, Sushan Bhari, Dipesh Shrestha and Dilip Nath.
Similarly, reserve players are - Kushal Bhurtel, Jitendra Kumar Mukhiya, Rajesh Pulami Magar and Sushil Kandel.
The Selection Committee headed by Venkatapathy Raju (Cricket Development Officer, ICC-Asia), Jagat Tamatta (Head Caoch), Paras Khadka & Gyanendra Malla selected the players.
The national team will start the camp prior to the tournament from March 19.
Nepal along with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, U-23 India, U-23 Sri Lanka, U-23 Pakistan and host U-23 Bangladesh will compete in the tournament.
