United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has agreed to hold talks with the government in order to resolve the current political deadlock.
The Front took such decision at a meeting held at Gaur, Rautahat on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
As per the decision, Mahantha Thakur, Chairman of the Terai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) will hold the meeting with three major parties including Nepali Congress, UCP (UML) and UCPN (Maoist).
Meanwhile, the three parties have also already formed the talk team. Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation Mahesh Acharya, CPN-UML leader Agni Kharel and UCPN (Maoist) Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha are in the team.
The three parties had also held meeting with disgruntled Madhes leaders including Federal Democratic Madhesi Morcha leader Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar on Tuesday.
The meeting will be held with Thakur and other leaders as soon as he returns from Terai visits.
