National Cricket Team skipper Paras Khadka will not join the practice matches in India prior to ICC World Cricket League matches against Kenya, following health issues.
Khadka who was admitted to Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi, last Friday, has been discharged after successful surgery of appendicitis on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
Khadka had the surgery of recurrent appendicitis with intestinal obstruction, according to medical director of the hospital Chakraraj Pandey. The hospital has also called him for follow-up check-up after a week.
However, Khadka will join the training camp as soon as the team returns from India after the practice matches. The practice matches are scheduled for February 26, February 28 and March 2.
The ICC WCL between Nepal and Kenya is scheduled at TU Cricket Ground on March 11 and 13, 2017.
