Armed Police Force (APF) Club and Nepal Police Club (NPC) will vie for the title of the 2nd APF IG National Open Women’s Volleyball Tournament 2015 at National Sports Council (NSC) Covered Hall in Tripureshor, Kathmandu, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
In the first semi-final match held at National Sports Council (NSC) Covered Hall in Tripureshor, Kathmandu, on Monday, January 12, 2015, APF women beat New Diamond Academy 24-26 25-12 25-15 25-19 to enter the finals of the tournament.
Similarly, NPC secured 25-20 25-13 25-11 against Western Volleyball Team in another semi-final match held at the same venue.
APF's Reshma Bhandari and NPC's Chuda Khadka were declared the player of the match in their respective matches.
Altogether, 8 teams including APF and NPC along with Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC), New Diamond Academy, Shree Chandeshori Youth Club (Ramechhap), Dhorpatan Sports Training Center, Western Region Volleyball Team and Shree Gaun Sports Development Committee (Dang) had competed in the Volleyball Tournament.
The first prize of the tournament is -- Rs 250,000, second prize is -- Rs 125,000 and third prize is -- Rs 50,000.
