Sankata Club has entered semi-final of the 19th Tilottama Gold Cup in Butwal on Monday, February 27, 2017.
Sankata defeated Armed Police Force (APF) team 2-1 to make it to semis berth held at ANFA Technical Center, Butwal. It had also beat APF 1-0 at the 19th Budha Subba Red Bull Gold Cub, last week.
As the match ended 1-1 draw in regular time, Sankata’s Moussa scored a match winning goal in additional 20 minutes. Martin had scored for MMC in 48th minute while Rabi Thing equalised in the 70th minute for APF.
Himalayan Sherpa Club and Rupandehi XI are already in the semis of the Tilottama Gold Cup.
The winner between Nepal Army Club and Nepal Police Club will make it to semis on Tuesday.
The winner will get the cash prize of Rs 551,000. The matches are being held at ANFA Technical Center, Butwal.
