The gold price has increased to Rs 49,800 per tola (11.664 gm) in the domestic market, last week.
However, the price remained constant at Rs 49,800 per tola on Sunday, the first trading day, this week. The price had also recorded highest in two months, last week, according to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Precious metal was priced at Rs 47,800 per tola on Sunday that continuously soared to 48,000 per tola on Monday, Rs 48,500 per tola on Tuesday, Rs 48,900 per tola on Wednesday, Rs 49,700 per tola on Thursday and Rs 49,800 per tola on Friday, the last trading day last week.
Meanwhile, the price of silver was even at Rs 675 per tola, over last week.
