Everest Bank has pledged relief fund of Rs 10 million for the support & rehabilitation of the victims of devastating earthquake of April 25, 2015.
Out of the mentioned package, Rs 5 million shall be donated to the account of Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund maintained with the bank.
Similarly, the remaining fund will be channelised for the rehabilitation of the victims by way of sending supports directly or through government agencies/NGO to the affected area.
In its efforts to support the affected in the best possible way, the bank from April 26, 2015 itself provided uninterrupted banking services from almost all outlets.
Simultaneously, the bank maintained relief accounts both in Nepal and India to collect funds for the relief of the victims. The bank also offered free remittance facility for a month to facilitate inward remittance.
