The third edition of Ruslan Dhangadhi T20 Premier League (DPL-3) has been postponed by two days – from Monday, February 11, 2019.
Organiser Dhangadhi Cricket Academy has revised the starting day of the DPL-3 by two days citing unfavourable weather condition - incessant rainfall since Thursday.
The 15-day tournament is supposed to kick off at Fapla International Stadium, Dhangadhi, from Saturday, February 9 to 23, 2019. Altogether, six teams from different cities are scheduled to compete in the tournament - host Dhangadhi Stars, Biratnagar Kings, Rupandehi Challengers, Mahendranagar United, CYC Attariya and Kathmandu Goldens.
The prize money to winner team has been increased by Rs 500,000 to Rs 3 million while the runner-up will receive Rs 1.2 million. Similarly, the third and fourth will get Rs 400,000 and 200,000, respectively.
Likewise,tThe most valuable player of the tournament will be awarded with Golden Shoe from Goldstar while the man-of-the-match of each match will be awarded with Rs 15,000.
