Dhangadi United was crowned with the title of the 1st Kathmandu Cricket League 2015 that concluded at Tudhikhel Ground in Kathmandu on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Dhangadi United defeated Kathmandu Cricket Training Center (KCTC) by 105 runs in the final match to clinch the title today.
KCTC was restricted just to 143 runs in 24.3 overs while chasing the target of 249 runs made in 44.1 overs.
Amrit Shrestha had scored 94 runs, Sunil Dhamal 73 runs and Siddhant Lohani 31 runs for winner. Manish Sahani had claimed four wickets for Kathmandu.
Kathmandu’s Sanjay Basnet scored 57 runs and Aadil Khan 35 runs while Bikram Thagunna, Mahesh Adhikari and Sunil Dhamal took three wickets each for Dhangadi United.
Winner Dhangadi United bagged Rs 50,000 while runner-up KCTC received Rs 25,000 along with the trophies and certificates.

Altogether, 12 teams have competed in the 15-day in the tournament organised by Himalaya Sport Management (HSM). The teams were divided into four groups A, B, C and D – three each in a group.

Pool B: Lord Buddha Cricket Club (LBCC), Gaushala, Ultimate Indoor Cricket, SMC Baneshwor

Pool D: New Vision Club, Srijanagar Cricket Club, Baluwatar Cricket Club
