The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the squad for a charity cricket match “Bat for Nepal” to be hosted by Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.
The CAN XI team comprises of Paras Khadka (Captain), Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Veshwakar, Mehboob Alam, Rajesh Pulami Magar, Somal Kami, Anil Kumar Mandal, Siddhanta Lohani, Raju Rijal, Shakti Prasad Gauchhan, Bhuwan Karki, Abinash Karna and Karna KC, according to the CAN press statement.
The CAN XI will take on World XI in a charity match led by Sri Lankan Sanath Jayasuriya along with the players Rashid Latif (Pakistan), Aminul Islam (Bangladesh), Sohag Gazi (Bangladesh), Abdur Rassak (Bangladesh), Steve O'Keefe (Australia), Marcus Stoinis (Australia), Chetan Suryawangsi (Singapore), Suresh Navaratnam (Malaysia) and Ahmad Faiz (Malaysia).
The match is scheduled for August 9, 2015, at the Kinrara Oval, Malaysia. The charity match is aimed at raising fund for the Earthquake victims of Nepal.
The MCA has fixed ticker rate for ordinary sitting at RM30 and pavilion sitting at RM200.
Similarly, Media Box + Ticket for Dinner on 8th August is priced at Rs RM800 and VIP Room + Ticket for Dinner on 8th August at RM1200.
