It has selected 18-player including four reserve players of the tournament that is scheduled be held in Malaysia from October 13 to 23, 2015, according to the CAN statement issued today.
The players are: Raju Rijal (Captain), Arif Seikh (Vice-captain), Dipendra Airee, Saurav Khanal, Shankar Rana, Sandip Sunar, Sunil Dhamala, Yogendra Karki, Dipesh Shrestha, Sushil Kandel, Prem Tamang, Rajbir Singh, Kushal Bhurtel and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi.
Similarly, the reserve players are: Kamal Airee, Himangsu Datta, Ashish Dhami and Sandip Lamichhane.
Nepal will take on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in its inaugural match of the Qualifiers, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC) schedule.
Altogether, five teams - Nepal, Ireland, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Uganda and the United States of America (USA) will compete in the tournament.
The winner will qualify for the 11th edition of the ICC U-19 World Cup that will be held in Bangladesh from January 22 to February 14, 2016.
The winner will join the 10 full member of ICC and other five additional teams – Afghanistan, Namibia, Canada, Fiji and Scotland.
Previously, Nepal was awarded to host the Qualifiers. Due to devastating Earthquake on April 25th the tournament was postponed to Malaysia.
