Dahlia Yehia, a young teacher from Texas, has been deemed dead in Nepal last month.
Nepal Police are on search of her body as Yehia was beaten to death and dumped in a river in western part Nepal.
Police have also arrested Narayan Paudel, a man who was hosting Yehia as a guest in Nepal, in connection to her murder.
Poudel has also apparently confessed to Yehia’s murder, according to Police investigation. The motive behind the murder was money, said Police.
Yehia, former Sci-Tech Preparatory Teacher, had arrived Nepal on July 20, 2015, to support the victims of the April 25th devastating Earthquake.
“The students calledher ‘Miss Y.’ They loved her,” said Mary Brinkman, the principal at Sci-Tech Preparatory School. “She was a cool teacher.”
According to Brinkman, Yehia had spent a semester at the school before her resignation.
