Defending champion Railway Team India and Armed Police Force (APF) will vie for the title of the 4th Prime Minister Indo-Nepal Women’s Volleyball Championship 2017 on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
In the first semi-final match held at Nepalgunj covered hall on Tuesday, Railway defeated Nepal Army team 3-0 with 25-16, 25-23, 25-14 straights sets to enter the final.
Similarly, last year’s runner-up APF beat Police with 25-13, 25-7, 25-22 to make it to the next round.
The winner will bag Rs 111,000 while runner-up will get Rs 55,000 and third place Rs 35,000.
National Sports Council (NSC) member-secretary Keshav Kumar Bista is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony of the event.
