The Google search engine giant has announced its automatic car which does not require driver will be on streets on California in the New Year of 2015. In May it has announced regarding the automatic car. Finally after ten years their research has provided output.
Google urges to take challenges to take in road and tested after testing individual parts of cars like braking, steering, cameras and sensors which has been designed effectively.
The Google car comes with “Go” and “Stop” button and rest of the ride is controlled by the GPS navigation and sensors (cameras attached in it) which helps to detect the road.
The initial test will be done on Christmas but for precaution manual controls are kept for the driver.
Google Co-founder Sergey Brin says "The experience feels different. You're just sitting there, no steering wheel, no pedals - for me it was very relaxing. In about 10 seconds after getting in, I forgot I was there. It reminded me of catching a chairlift by yourself, a bit of solitude I found really enjoyable".
Google’s Chris Urmaon also posted in blog saying that “They won't have a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal... because they don't need them. Our software and sensors do all the work”.
Google said that maximum speed of car will be 25 Miles /40 Kilometers per hour because it is designed for utility not luxury.
Well now it’s time to watch whether the car will be successful or not in upcoming future because there are many challenges but if it do succeed it will be great invention done by GOOGLE.
