Nepal Army Team and Armed Police Force (APF) have won their respective matches in the ongoing 2nd Pathibhara National Men’s Volleyball Tournament in Taplejung Municipality, on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
In the third day matches held at Taplejung Municipality Army Court, Nepali Army defeated Eastern region in three straight sets with 25-16, 25-23, 25-18 while APF beat Central Region with 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.
So far, Army and Ploice have accumulated total 6 points each from the played two matches while APF has 3 points, Eastern Region 2 points and Mid-Western Region has 1 point from the played three matches.
Altogehter, eight teams including - three departmental teams - Nepal Police, Army and Armed Police Force and teams from five development regions are in the title fray.
The winner of the tournament will get the cash prize of Rs 330,000 while second place will receive Rs 165,000 along with trophies and medals.
Similarly, two semi-finalist teams will get Rs 35,000 each and beat player Rs 10,000. The tournament is organisd by Taplejung District Volleyball Association.
