The biggest indoor cricket competition ever “1st Inter-College Super Cup 2017” kicked off with the cash prize of Rs 100,000 in Kathmandu from Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
In the inaugural match held at Ultimate Indoor Cricket’s court in Koteshowar, Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) has defeated Nova College by 41 runs.
Similarly, Pentagon College beat Rajshree Janak College by 73 runs in the second match of the day while Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) registered 30 runs victory against Nagarjuna in another match.
In the fourth match of the inaugural day, Kaustuv Academy thrashed Himalayan White House by 102 runs, TU Institute of Medicine won over Silk Road International College by 30 runs and Cosmos College edged past White House College by 58 runs in group stage matches.
The league matches are of 12 overs while knock-out stage will have 18 overs matches called Super-Game.
The man of the series will get Rs 10,000 while the best bowler and best batsman will received Rs 5,000 each.
The six side tournament is jointly organised by Ultimate Indoor Cricket and Panda events.
Altogether, 16 teams are divided into four groups of four teams – A, B, C and D.
